Eric Bellinger has a knack for singing praises to women; his new song, “BNB,” which is short for “Brand New Body,” is no exception.
The onset of the sampled-based track calls to mind lines from Wale’s 2014 single “The Body,” on which Jeremih features.
Hitmaka, Keyz, Kofo, and Jonas, who co-produced the appreciation anthem, screw and chop the words, “Baby, you got a body like a Benz.”
At a time when bodies are manufactured, Bellinger applauds the strides his girl made to enhance her backside naturally. Now that’s sitting just right, he’s even more anxious for late-night visits to see what’s hitting like.
“BNB” is the second song released from Bellinger and Hitmaka’s upcoming collaborative album 1-800-Hit-Eazy: Line 2. The set is a sequel to their 2021 project, 1-800-Hit-Eazy.

Bellinger and Hitmaka launched the new project cycle with “Obsession,” a song released in October. When promoting the single, Bellinger proclaimed it was crafted to cease the conversation that R&B is dead.
“I’ve been making R&B music my entire career out of passion,” Bellinger said. “In a time when people said it was dead and no one cared about the genre, I went harder to fill the void. Solely based on the feeling it gave me in the booth. So to know now that people are ready and craving the real again makes my soul happy.”
He continued, “‘Obsession’ is what people didn’t know they needed. Nothing like a full-circle moment. R&B is Very Alive. Stay in the race. It’s all about timing. It’s Eazy!”
A Muni Long-assisted “Obsession (Remix)” arrived last month and an acoustic version followed.
On Feb. 2, 2023, Bellinger will embark on his headlining Obsession Tour.
He will kick off the multi-date trek at Nuemos in Seattle, Washington, and conclude April 2, 2023, at 24 Oxford, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets are available now.
Bellinger’s upcoming tour will set the stage for 1-800-Hit-Eazy: Line 2 and give him more room to perform songs from his Grammy-nominated album, New Light.
