Trevor Jackson and GoGo Morrow will open for Eric Bellinger on his Obsession Tour on select dates.
Bellinger’s headlining tour kicks off Feb. 2 at Neumos in Seattle, Washington. From there, he will play in major U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York and Boston. The tour concludes April 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 24 Oxford.
Jackson will be supporting his 2022 EP, Show Me Diamonds, which dropped in November. The project fuses R&B with drill elements.
“With all due respect to the culture of drill music, I felt the inspiration to add it,” said Jackson. “That space has turned into ‘drill&b’ and people are loving it. I had a great time making this project and I wanted my fans to feel the same energy I felt when I made it as they listen in. Here’s a little treat before the holidays.”
Show Me Diamonds is Jackson’s follow-up to his 2021 debut album, The Love Language.“I definitely feel like I really opened up, it was a little more vulnerable in terms of the subject matter,” Jackson said to Rated R&B in an interview.
Outside of music, Jackson currently stars in Freeform’s Grown-ish, which has been renewed for a sixth season.
As for Morrow, she will be promoting her debut EP, Ready. “I titled my project Ready because I thought I was ready so many times in my life, and I might have been, but it wasn’t my time,” Morrow said in an interview with Rated R&B.
“Now I feel like everything is aligned. I feel like I’m ready. I feel like the world’s ready for something fresh [and] God is ready for me. I think I’ve learned all the lessons I was supposed to learn for me to advance to the next level.”
Ready was released Oct. 19, 2022, via producer-songwriter Harmony Samuels’ B.O.E. Records and Universal Music Canada in partnership with Interscope Records and Kenya Barris’ Khalabo Music.
