Singer-songwriter Justine Skye gets in on the latest TikTok challenge for her 2014 single “Collide” with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Styled in a revealing black gown and rocking a Jessica Rabbit-esque hairdo, Skye leaves the stage smoking with her alluring performance.
As mentioned above, “Collide,” which features rapper Tyga, re-emerged thanks largely to a TikTok challenge that started in late 2022.
“Collide been creeping it’s way back on the charts again like a sneaky ex after all these years,” Skye wrote in an Instagram caption for a previous performance of the song.

More recently, Skye released a new compilation EP titled, Dark Side. The 10-song release features three variations of “Collide,” including a solo version, a sped-up version and its original.
Dark Side also includes previously released songs, some of which were on the tracklist for her 2021 album, Space and Time. The Timbaland-helmed effort included guest appearances from Justin Timberlake (“Innocent“) and Rema (“Twisted Fantasy“).

Skye wrote of Dark Side, “For those of you who are new, enjoy. The ones that have been with me from the beginning, feel free to dive back in. I’m so positively overwhelmed with the response Collide has gotten and wanted to give love to some of my favorites from my previous projects as I finish up this next album.”
Now, back to “Collide.” The slow jam, produced by DJ Mustard, was released in August 2014 following her debut EP Everyday Living, released in 2013 on Atlantic Records.
The official video for “Collide” has over 10 million views on YouTube.
On Spotify, “Collide” has more than 141 million streams at the time of publication. Its sped-up remix is now at 53 million plays on the streaming platform.
“Collide” also is making noise on Billboard. This week, the DJ Mustard-produced track is now No. 133 and No. 127 on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts, respectively.
According to Billboard, the Global Excl. US chart “ranks the top songs based on streaming and/or sales activity from more than 200 territories around the world- excluding the U.S. – as tracked by Luminate.”
