Ambré has released an acoustic version of “I’m Baby” featuring Jvck James. She pairs it with a video directed by Mollana Burke.

In the video, the two rising singers wander through an open field as they sing the new pillowy version. They later perform on a mirrored platform, showing off their edgy, matching fashion.

“I’m Baby” is Ambré’s current focus track from her most recent EP, 3000°, released last summer. The collaboration, produced by Louie Lastic, caught fire on the R&B charts. It tallied the duo’s first top 10 hit at R&B radio, along with their first on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart.

On the latter list, “I’m Baby” entered at No. 9 the week that ended March 4. It’s now No. 4 at the time of publication.

Before the runaway success of “I’m Baby,” Ambré issued an official video directed by Child.

“To me, the video is an art piece that I will allow the viewer to interpret,” Ambré said. “Hopefully, it makes someone feel even more beautiful, sexy, and capable of being vulnerable with that someone they trust.”

Ambré teamed with Vevo and SiriusXM for additional in-studio sets, both of which she performed without James.

3000° is Ambré’s follow-up to 2019’s Pulp and its director’s cut version, released nearly a year later. The eight-track effort includes additional features from Destin Conrad, BEAM and Jay Electronica.

Discussing 3000°, Ambré said, “This body of work means so much to me because it reflects how I view myself, where I come from, and my loved ones.”

“This is a love story set in the most magical city. New Orleans made me who I am; make no mistake about it. Hopefully, my fans and new listeners will also feel the heart of it and become immersed in the world I have created in this EP.”

Ambré is gearing up for a spring tour to support “I’m Baby” and its parent EP. She will kick off the eight-date Wild Magnolia Tour on April 16 at Foundry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The tour concludes on April 30 at Echo in Los Angeles, California. Tickets are available now.
