Tone Stith has announced a two-night residency at AB, a restaurant-turned-music-venue in Nashville, Tennessee. The back-to-back shows, powered by Lovenoise, are set to take place on May 5 and May 6. All shows are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET.

Stith is the first artist to perform a residency at AB. Joining him for both shows is rising act Bryant Taylorr.

“AB’s commitment to celebrating Nashville’s dynamic music scene is just beginning,” said Marcie Allen Van Mol, co-owner of AB. “Tone Stith’s performance is the first in our plan to host artist residencies, showcases and songwriter series, which will provide a stage for extraordinary talent from all genres to shine.”

Tickets are on sale now. Prices start at $50 for each show.

Stith’s upcoming residency follows his Set The Tone Tour, which launched in October and ended in December. His headlining tour supported his two 2021 EPs, FWM and Still FWM.

RCA Records

Released in June 2021, FWM was preceded by the title track and “Like The First Time.” The nine-song release boasted appearances from H.E.R., Kiana Ledé and Lonr.

Of FWM, Stith said, “This is a new introduction. For the people that have heard it, this is a re-introduction. This is different than what I’ve done before. For the new people, now is the time to f*ck with me. Now is the time to get on the train because we’re about to take off and we’re going to keep going. After this project, we plan to release several more. The next few years is just going to be a whole ton of music coming out.”

Four months later, Stith followed with Still FWM. He tapped Chris Brown, Maeta and Kenneth Paige are collaborators.

Amid his Set The Tone Tour, Stith kept his world on music drops and released “B.E.D.” The Audibles produced the track.
