Emerging R&B singer Sy’Rai has unveiled the official video for her debut single, “On My Own.”
The Luciano Picazo-directed video shows Sy’Rai and her friends on a fun-filled drive, dancing and grooving to the music. It also includes glamorous solo shots of the singer.
One standout moment captures her against a stunning pink backdrop adorned with jewels, delivering a breathtaking performance directly into the camera.
“On My Own” was co-produced by Jared “Reezy Tunez” Thorne and Keyz Bridgez. It was co-written by Sy’Rai, Eric Bellinger and Jaysen C Stewart.

The song is the lead single from Sy’Rai’s upcoming debut EP, executive produced by her mother, Brandy.
“I’ve seen my mom in the studio all my life and I’m a perfectionist like her so it has to sound correct,” Sy’Rai told BET. “I stack like crazy – a lot of melodic, driven music because people like melodies.”
She continued, “I have that Brandy sound that people try and get – I can do it, and it’s in my genes to be like her. Not trying to be copied, but people call me the ‘New Testament’ so people will be surprised by what I’m coming up with.”
The mother-daughter duo previously worked together on the songs “High Heels,” featured on Brandy’s B7 album, and “Nothing Without You,” featured on Disney’s Cheaper By The Dozen soundtrack.
Before releasing this song and music video, Sy’Rai appeared on MTV’S new docuseries, Family Legacy, streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
