Lion Babe’s new single “Love Another Time” is perfect for those who want to enjoy a night out without commitment.
The pulsating track was co-produced by James Juke and Astro Raw, while Juke co-wrote it with the R&B duo, composed of Lucas Goodman and Jillian Hervey.
On “Love Another Time,” an adrenaline-pumping number, Lion Babe’s vocalist Hervey rebuffs a lover’s advances and suggests flirting with other guys at the club.
“Walk up in the club, stop strike a pose / Take a lil hit, anything goes / Hold up, bend over, touch ya toes / Wiggle that wiggle that / Boys get froze,” Hervey rap-sings over the hyper-dance backdrop.

Lion Babe has released a maxi-single of “Love Another Time” with various extended mixes since its official release. The duo has been consistent in this approach throughout the year, revamping other tracks such as “Body Work” and “Thinkin Bout You,” which is a faithful rendition of Frank Ocean’s classic.
According to Fader, “Thinkin Bout You” is the lead single for Lion Babe’s upcoming album, The House of Lion Babe.
“’Thinkin Bout You’ is a record that brings us back to a time when we first started to make music together,” they told Fader. “When it came out, we were just beginning to form Lion Babe. As we’ve reached milestones in our lives and careers, it is natural that our artistry is transforming as well. We have a new sound, groove, and sonic pallet while still keeping our roots intact. This record is a taste of our next music chapter.”
“Body Work” is also set to appear on The House of Lion Babe, which will be dance-focused. An official release date has not been revealed yet. But, as reported by Fader, the album is slated to come out this fall.
The House of Lion Babe will be the follow-up to Lion Babe’s third studio album, Rainbow Child, released in August 2021. The LP was supported with singles such as “Home” and “Get Up” featuring Trinidad James.
“This album got us through the pandemic and has brought so much transformation and love to our lives,” Lion Babe jointly said in a statement about Rainbow Child.
Speaking of child, Hervey and Goodman welcomed their first baby together in December 2021. “Our personal journey up until this point has always been private and sacred. We have always chosen for our music and art to tell our story. But, we couldn’t enter this new chapter without sharing our excitement and love for our baby without you, our support and community,” Hervey said.
