Leela James is heading on tour in 2024. The soul singer has announced the dates for her headlining Thought U Knew Tour.
The tour kicks off Jan. 13 in Grand Prairie, Texas, at Texas Trust CU Theatre.
James will make stops in Tampa, Detroit, Oakland, New York and Baltimore, before concluding on March 29 in Milwaukee. James’ tour will also include a performance on Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite Cruise, which sets sail Feb. 13 to Nassau, Bahamas.
The Thought U Knew Tour is titled after James’ latest album, out now via She Sangz Music/BMG. The album includes the lead single “Right Back In It,” a top 10 hit on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart.
“Right Back In It’ is special, as it highlights the importance of getting back to yourself, getting back to love, and getting back to what makes you feel good,” James explained.
Last month, James linked with Kevin Ross for an official “Right Back In It (Remix).”
Thought U Knew is the follow-up to James’ 2021 album, See Me.
