Legendary R&B singer Toni Braxton and comedy king Cedric the Entertainer have announced their co-headlining Las Vegas residency, Love & Laughter.

The limited-engagement affair will take place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, beginning April 27. The two will perform seven shows through July 13.

According to press materials, “Throughout the show, the two icons will captivate the crowd through music, jokes and storytelling – creating the ideal feel-good evening.”

“Comedy and song have been at the heart of the human communal experience since the beginning of time, and we are thrilled to join on stage to bring that experience to the Cosmopolitan,” said Braxton and Cedric in a joint statement. “We could all use a little more love and laughter in our lives.”

Tickets to Love & Laughter: Toni Braxton & Cedric The Entertainer go on sale this Friday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. PST.

In other news, Braxton will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year. She is among the 31 honorees for the class of 2024, which includes Brandy and Otis Redding.

While it’s been nearly four years since Braxton released her last album, Spell My Name, the music icon has been keeping busy in multiple industries. In 2021, she launched her body care brand Nude Sugar.

Then, in 2023, she announced her production deal with Lifetime and A&E Networks. “Lifetime has been home to my film and TV projects for the past decade,” said Braxton. “My team and I are looking forward to continued success with the network as we bring projects to life for the audience that has so graciously welcome us into their homes over the years.”

Circling back to Spell My Name, the 10-track album included her No. 1 hits “Gotta Move On” featuring H.E.R. and “Do It.”
