”Because I Love You’ is a song for anyone who has been deeply in love,” Halle explains. “It’s an anthem that tells the story of all of the beautiful passion and euphoria you can feel with that person.”

“Because I Love You” is Halle’s second single of 2024. In March, she released the sentimental “In Your Hands,” produced by Dem Jointz and D. Phelps.
“‘In Your Hands’ is an incredibly special song to me. It’s basically a message about fighting for a love that you know is an incredibly beautiful one-of-a-kind love, but also a reminder to that special someone that your love has changed their life and is something they won’t experience in this lifetime again,” Halle explained.
She added, “It’s a love song but also an empowerment song to ourselves and a reminder that we are a one-of-a-kind special being and that we’re worth more than all the diamonds and gold in the world.”
“In Your Hands” debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, it opened at No. 9 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales and No. 14 on the Hot R&B Songs charts.
In August 2023, Halle released her debut solo single, “Angel,” produced by TheRon “Neff-U” Feemster.
“This song for me is so very special and near and dear to my heart,” said Halle. “With everything I’ve gone through the past 3-4 years, suddenly finding myself in this bubble of all these eyes and new opinions, it was easy for me to feel doubt in myself and who I was.”
She continued, “This song for me was my climb out of those feelings, a mantra and promise to myself that the work I’m doing here on earth matters and that I matter.”
“Angel” debuted at No. 2 on the R&B Digital Song Sales, No. 6 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales and No. 23 on the Digital Song Sales charts. Additionally, it was nominated for a 2024 Grammy for Best R&B Song, marking her first solo nomination.
Solo music aside, Halle appears on her sister Chlöe‘s sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise, on the acoustic ballad “Want Me.”
