Langston Bleu returns with a new EP, Love Is A Luxury, marking the rising singer’s first project in three years.
The nine-track offering includes the previously shared songs “Luxury” and “Fool’s Gold.”
Lyric-wise, Love Is A Luxury boasts about getting lascivious, fast cars, designer fashion, and endless bar tabs. As for the project itself, it’s a top-notch blend of complementary vocal styles and mesmerizing production choices.
“Swerve,” featuring rapper Deante’ Hitchcock, immediately brings to mind the soundscape of Chris Brown, while “Limousine” glides down the partition for intimate moments that cannot be delayed a second longer.
Bleu also presents his audience with a hip-grinding dancehall jam, “Obsession,” featuring the multi-talented A.Chic.

Regarding Love Is A Luxury, Bleu described it as “a reflection on how we value love in an era where everything comes with a price.”
When explaining what he hopes fans will take away from the project, Bleu said, “I want people to think about what they’re spending their emotional currency on. In a world where wages are low, and prices are high, love and time have become the most expensive luxuries. If I’m gonna embrace the ‘city boy’ life, it’s gotta be done with style and purpose.”
As noted earlier, Love Is A Luxury is the singer’s first project release since Bleu in 2021. The seven-track offering includes singles such as “Slow Down” and “You.”
“When I decided to come back to music I knew it had to be different. I knew I had to come harder and I had a lot to prove especially to myself. This body of work saved my life and I’m so happy you guys are enjoying it. My heart is so full,” Bleu shared at the release of his 2021 EP.
