Chris Brown has reached the top of another Billboard chart. His Grammy-nominated hit “Residuals” rises to No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay in its ninth week on the chart.
The forlorn ballad tallies Brown’s 14th No. 1 hit on the Rhythmic Airplay chart, breaking his four-way tie with Usher, Bruno Mars, and The Weeknd. The three gents each have 13 No. 1s.
With his 14th chart-topper, Brown now has the most No. 1s on Rhythmic Airplay among male R&B artists. Per Billboard, Brown has the third-most No. 1s behind Drake (39) and Rihanna (17) since the chart launched in 1992.

Further, “Residuals” is No. 3 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay (new peak), No. 4 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay (new peak), No. 5 on Hot R&B Songs (No. 3 peak), and No. 25 on Radio Songs (new peak).
Last week, the Eric Hudson and Blaq Tuxedo-produced track rose to No. 1 at rhythmic radio.
“Residuals” is a fan-driven single that took off following the release of Brown’s 11:11 (Deluxe) album. On Spotify, the song has garnered 44 million streams and counting.
At the 67th Grammy Awards, “Residuals” is nominated for Best R&B Performance. His other nominations include 11:11 (Deluxe) for Best R&B Album and “Sensational” with Davido and Lojay for Best African Music Performance.
