With less than a month until Chris Brown releases his 11th album, 11:11, the R&B star unveils his latest single, “Sensational.”
The DJ Hardwerk-produced track features Nigerian artists Davido and Lojay. On “Sensational,” Brown gleefully sings about an intimate moment in the bedroom with a love interest.
“This one, she’s fine, oh yeah / She want this, then she got this / She no be controllin’ / She dance it and she wind it,” Brown sings.
“Sensational” is the second single from Brown’s album, 11:11, due Nov. 11 on RCA Records. It’s the follow-up to his blazing jam “Summer Too Hot.”
The upbeat tune, produced by Roccstar and Gabriel Roland, reached No. 1 at rhythmic radio in September.
Brown’s upcoming album will follow his Grammy-nominated effort, Breezy. The album, which was released in standard and deluxe editions, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Breezy included Brown’s RIAA gold-certified single “Call Me Every Day” featuring Wizkid.
The song scored Brown and Wizkid a win for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration (Contemporary) at the 54th NAACP Image Awards, which aired in February.
Circling back to 11:11, Brown originally stated that the album would contain 11 tracks. His intention for 11:11 is to make it more digestible for the masses.
“I see Some of my die hard fans wanting me to add more songs for the new project and I love y’all for that. But, I just feel I need you all to really miss me and take my art seriously. IM JUST focused on giving y’all the best to digest. 11:11 make a wish,” Brown wrote on Instagram.
In a recent Instagram post, Brown confirmed 11:11 will consist of 22 tracks in total. The first 11 songs will drop at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, followed by 11 more songs at 11 p.m.
“11/11 11th album 11am (11songs) 11pm (11songs),” he wrote in a caption for a portrait of himself.
