October London recently appeared on the SHERRI show to promote his new album, October Nights. He performed his single “She Keeps Calling” as part of the SHERRI Playlist segment.
Styled in a blue pinstriped suit, London serenades in a cozy lounge setting with an electronic guitarist.
Released Aug. 30, “She Keeps Calling” is the lead single from London’s sophomore album, October Nights. Soopafly produced the spellbinding groove.
London said about the new single, “I wrote this song for all the times anyone has had a woman hit their line and eventually those calls build up and have you come back for more than you anticipated.”
Last week, “She Keeps Calling” debuted at No. 22 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart, marking London’s third solo entry and fourth overall.
His previous singles, “Back to Your Place” and “Mulholland Drive,” from his debut album, The Rebirth of Marvin, reached the top of the chart for 10 and two weeks, respectively.
Right now, London appears twice on the Adult R&B list. He has a single of his own and he is featured on the track “All I Want Is You” with jazz musician Boney James. This song is part of James’ album Slow Burn and London’s album October Nights.
October Nights dropped on Oct. 11 via Death Row Records/gamma. It comes a year after his first album, The Rebirth of Marvin, released Feb. 10, 2023.
Tyrese, Ledisi, and Snoop Dogg are among the other contributors to the album, while “A Beautiful Woman” is a separate single that was released before October Nights.
Describing the title of his album, London exclusively told Rated R&B, “Just having fun. Nighttime is the best time for me. I go to the studio at night, but I’m always bringing a few people with me if I’m not working.”
He added, “I like to hang out at night with my friends and with family. I love having beautiful women around me all the time. October Nights represents having a good time in the nighttime and letting loose.”
Following his support for Maxwell’s Serenade Tour this fall, London will embark on a Europe and U.K. tour in January 2025. For more information, visit his official website.
