Nao is stepping into 2025 with a joyful spirit. The English singer-songwriter has released her new single, “Happy People,” co-produced by Stint and Yakob.

Nao co-wrote the buoyant track with the song’s producers alongside Lauren Keen and Kareem James.

“We could be happy people / Don’t worry ‘bout who don’t need you / I don’t need no else but you and I / I found my people / Living like happy people / Living a life more peaceful,” she sings in the chorus.

Speaking about her new song, Nao shares, “‘Happy People’ is about finding peace, joy and purpose in meaningful connections with those who truly care. It celebrates the strength of relationships and friendships.”

“Happy People” is the fourth song shared from Nao’s upcoming fourth album, Jupiter. The anticipated album, set to release Feb. 21 via Sony Music UK/RCA Records, will include “All Of Me,” “Elevate,” and “Wildflowers.”

“Wildflowers,” recorded at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios while Nao was pregnant, was released in October 2024 as the album’s lead single.

Regarding the DetoNate-produced track, Nao explained, “A Wildflower symbolizes falling in love—it’s wild, carefree, and you want it to last forever. But life and time have other plans. ‘Wildflowers’ invites listeners to explore the highs and lows of love while embracing vulnerability.”

Following “Wildflowers,” Nao returned with “Elevate” in November and “All Of Me” in December.

According to press materials, Jupiter is “a collection of tracks that promises to be her most transformative and heartfelt work to date.” The upcoming album is the follow-up to 2021’s And Then Life Was Beautiful.

On Feb. 25, Nao will kick off the U.K./Europe leg of her headlining 2025 tour at Paradiso in Amsterdam. From there, she will visit Brussels, Berlin, Paris, Manchester, and more before concluding March 12 at O2 Academy in Brixton.

The North American leg of Nao’s tour launches April 17 at Tabernacle in Atlanta. She will make additional stops in Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, Seattle, and more. She will wrap up May 7 at The Novo in Los Angeles.
