Genre-defying artist Jane Handcock has released her new single “Stingy” via Death Row Records/gamma.
On the velvety soul track, produced by Soopafly, Handcock pleads for exclusivity from a potential love interest.
“Baby save, / Save all your love for me / Look what you did to me, you made me stingy / Save all your love for me / Locked in, throw away the key / I just want you all for me,” she sings.
Regarding “Stingy,” Handcock explains, “It’s about parlaying with my sneaky link but actually realizing I caught real feelings for him. Now, I wanna be stingy and keep him all to myself. We’ll see how it goes. Stay tuned…”

“Stingy” is Handcock’s first song release of the year. In 2024, the First Lady of Death Row Records released the tracks “I Can’t Recall It,” featuring her labelmate Charlie Bereal, and “Southside Love” featuring R&B duo GAWD.
The former song appeared on her label’s compilation album, Death Row Revue, which was released Jan. 3. The album, curated by Death Row’s owner, Snoop Dogg, featured a range of R&B, hip-hop, soul and mariachi.
In 2023, Handcock made her album World of Women available on all streaming platforms after it was exclusively released on Gala Music in 2022.
The album featured Snoop Dogg, who appeared on six tracks, and October London, who appeared on “That’s On Me.”
