R&B singer and songwriter Bee-B has released her new single “Thank U” via Vrse1 Entertainment/Create Music Group.
Produced by Derelle Rideout, “Thank U” is a heartwarming ode to a devoted lover. “You see the pieces no one sees / But you still love the mess in me / I don’t wanna lose myself so I hold back / But you don’t give up on me,” Bee-B sings.
Speaking on her new track, Bee-B tells Rated R&B, “I wrote ‘ Thank U’ straight from the heart one night in the studio with producer Derelle Rideout. It’s really just about me giving flowers to the one who loved me through my chaos. It’s about real gratitude, real love—no filter, not being afraid to be vulnerable.”
She adds, “I only want to write love songs right now. That’s the space I’m in.”

“Thank U” is the first taste from Bee-B’s forthcoming album, Palate Cleanse.
Regarding the meaning behind the album’s title, Bee-B shares, “It’s just my slang. It can mean anything — anything that gives you a break from the old, from the repetition that you experience. I feel like my music, me, my life…I needed a reset. I needed to cleanse my palate. This is what came from doing that after two, almost three years of growing as an artist and a creative.”
Palate Cleanse is the follow-up to the Compton native’s debut album, Ghetto Feng Shui, released in 2022. The album included her Raheem DeVaughn-assisted single “Can We?” and the Davion Farris-featured “Real.”
Since her debut era, Bee-B has released several standalone tracks, including “That Girl,” “Contagious,” “Want It All Back,” “Wait,” “I Feel Good,” “Lost In My Thoughts,” and “All About Me,” among others.
