Mariah The Scientist‘s new single “Burning Blue” is off to a strong start on the Billboard charts.
The Nineteen85-produced track, in collaboration with Jetski Purp, launches at No. 25 on the Hot 100 chart led by Kendrick Lamar and SZA‘s “Luther” for a 12th week.
It marks Mariah The Scientist’s highest-charting single on this chart to date. Further, it’s also her first solo entry on the Hot 100.
At the time of this writing, “Burning Blue” has 5.4 million streams on Spotify, while the official music video has 1.5 million views on YouTube.
Before “Burning Blue,” Mariah The Scientist made her first appearance on the Hot 100 in 2024 with Tee Grizzley’s “IDGAF,” also featuring Chris Brown, and 21 Savage’s “Dark Days.”

“Burning Blue” is the lead single from Mariah The Scientist’s fourth album, which will release via Epic Records.
“[My] new project, that has taken many nights to put together, but it’s done,” Mariah teased at Billboard’s Women in Music event in March. “So, I’m excited to put it out.”
The as-yet-titled album will follow 2023’s To Be Eaten Alive. The latter project included appearances from 21 Savage, Young Thug and Vory.
