Singer, songwriter and producer Amber Mark has released her new single “Sweet Serotonin” via PMR/Interscope Records.
Anchored by a warm, deep bassline with percussive kicks, “Sweet Serotonin” hears Mark yearning for a mood-boosting moment with a love interest.
“You talking sweet, you talking sly now / You giving me that sugar high now / Alright, you captured my attention / I’ll let you be my new addiction,” she coos on the velvety track.
Mark co-wrote and co-produced the alluring tune with Two Fresh, Julian Bunetta, José Ríos and Jason Kellner.
“Sweet Serotonin” is the first taste from Mark’s upcoming sophomore album, which will follow 2022’s Three Dimensions Deep. The latter album included the singles “Worth It,” “Competition,” “Foreign Things,” “What It Is” and “Softly.”
Following her debut album, Mark released her Loosies EP in 2024. The groove-filled project contained a mix of R&B, disco, soul and pop to tide over fans as she worked on her next album.
This fall, Mark will join pop star Sabrina Carpenter on her Short n’ Sweet Tour. She will join the “Espresso” singer for multiple nights in Pittsburgh, New York, Nashville, Toronto and Los Angeles.
