Editor’s Note (April 8, 2024): The Vbz on Vbz Tour has been canceled, according to a spokesperson for the tour.

Omarion has announced his headlining Vbz on Vbz Tour, powered by Black Promoters Collective.

The R&B vet will be joined by rising acts Vedo, Tone Stith, Jastin Martin and WanMor.

The 20-city tour begins April 5 in Grand Prairie, Texas, at Texas Trust CU Theatre. From there, they will perform in Houston, New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Richmond, and more before concluding May 19 in Atlanta.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. local time.

Omarion’s upcoming tour will support his 2023 albums, Full Circle: Sonic Book One and Full Circle: Sonic Book Two. Comparing the two albums, Omarion told Rated R&B: “Sonic Book One is more of what I feel people want to hear. I think we are in a space where people want to hear upbeat music. They want to definitely get the R&B tunes, but maybe not so deep.”

He continued, “Sonic Book Two is more in-depth. It’s deeper. It’s needed to put the listener in more of a reflective state. When listening to Sonic Book One and Sonic Book Two, you have to be listening with this perspective of love [and] knowing yourself. We live in a world where social media props you up to live this perfect life [and] it’s not that way.”

Omarion isn’t the only artist on the lineup who dropped two albums last year. Vedo kicked off 2023 with Mood Swings, before following up with 7. “There’s different emotions and feelings that came with [7]. On Mood Swings, I was very moody around that time. I’m not afraid to say that we all have ups and downs,” Vedo told Rated R&B.

He added, “[7] creates different moods when it comes to every song that you listen to. It’s pure R&B. You can’t listen to this album and not feel love and a sense of fullness. It’s some records on there that I don’t think I’ve done on any project. It’s a real inspirational record. It’s almost like a gospel song, but it’s my spin on gospel.”

Stith released his latest EP,  P.O.V, last September. The seven-track project included the singles “Girls Like You” and “I Need You.”

“It’s my point of view on my first heartbreak,” Stith told Rated R&B about the former song. “For me, it was a really big deal. I was very green as far as love goes. The first person I was giving my all to, even though it was young love, it was like, ‘I’m here 150%.’ Then, when that person stabbed my back, it was like, ‘You messed it up for everybody else. Now I got this evil side of me.”

“Girls Like You” peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart.

As for Martin, the Houston-based singer and songwriter released her debut album, Miss Me Yet? in August via Def Jam Recordings.

On this past Valentine’s Day, Martin returned with an expanded version of the album, Miss Me Yet… Now? (Deluxe). The album includes six bonus tracks, including three remixes with Eric Bellinger, Raheem DeVaughn and Sammie.

R&B quartet WanMor released their self-titled debut EP last March via Mary J. Blige’s Beautiful Life Productions and 300 Entertainment. After releasing “This Holiday” in November, they closed the year with their striking rendition of Boy II Men’s “Please Don’t Go.”

Earlier this month, the all-brother group returned with their Hitmaka-produced single “Baby.”
