Givēon‘s sophomore album, BELOVED, is off to a strong start on the Billboard charts.
The Grammy-nominated singer’s latest offering opens at No. 8 on the Billboard chart, led by Travis Scott and Jackboys’ album JACKBOYS 2.
According to Hits Daily Double, BELOVED sold 44,845 equivalent album years, with 7,080 derived from pure sales. Meanwhile, JACKBOYS 2 garnered 251,468 equivalent units (181,188 in pure sales).
BELOVED is Givēon’s second top 10 album on the Billboard 200, following his compilation project, When It’s All Said and Done… Take Time, which debuted at No. 5.
Elsewhere on Billboard, BELOVED is No. 2 on the Top R&B Albums chart behind pop star Justin Bieber’s surprise drop SWAG. The latter project is also No. 2 on the Billboard 200, with 167,161 equivalent units sold, according to Hits Daily Double.

BELOVED was released July 11 via Not So Fast/Epic Records. Before dropping the album, Givēon released the singles “Twenties” and “Rather Be,” and appeared on Teddy Swims’ No. 1 hit “Are You Even Real.”
Regarding his second album, Givēon shared, “BELOVED is a complete encapsulation of the very transformative growth I experienced over the past three years. My trials and tribulations, the good and the bad, all helped form this album. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating.”
BELOVED follows the Long Beach native’s debut album, Give Or Take, released in 2022. His first full-length album was close to achieving a top 10 victory, debuting at No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
Givēon will support his new album on his headlining Dear Beloved, The Tour this fall. The North American leg kicks off Oct. 1 in Seattle and wraps up Nov. 6 in New York City. Free Nationals, Charlotte Day Wilson and Sasha Keable will join him as special guests in select cities.
