R&B newcomer Joe Leone has returned with his new single “God’s Favorite” via Eric Benét‘s JBR Creative Group.
On the Camper-produced ballad, Leone praises a woman who feels heaven-sent.
“Girl, you look like God’s favorite / Ahh, woo when I say your name it’s like I’m prayin’,” he sings on the divine track.
“God’s Favorite” arrives with an intimate music video, which shows Leone cuddled up with his special person. The video can be watched below.

“God’s Favorite” follows “Where Have You Been” and “Discipline.” The latter song, also produced by Camper, was released in early May.
Regarding “Discipline,” Leone explained, “Every now and then, we find ourselves in a sticky situation when it comes to love. Love can be so wrong for all kinds of reasons, but that doesn’t stop it from feeling so right.”
In late May, Leone followed up with “Where Have You Been,” produced by Curtis “Sauce” Wilson.
“The song ‘Where Have You Been’ is about finding the kind of love that’s so perfect you feel pissed off that you ever tried loving someone else. It’s about finding a true partner in crime, one you wish had been around your whole life – that last puzzle piece kind of love,” explained Leone.
With Leone dropping three singles throughout this year, one could presume that a project is underway.
In other news, Leone co-wrote fellow R&B singer J. Brown‘s No. 1 hit “True Love,” which topped Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart in June.
