Bryson Tiller has released The Vices, the first installment of his double album, Solace & The Vices.

The 12-track project showcases Slum Tiller’s rap side with features from Plies, T-Pain, Rick Ross, BossMan Dlow and more. For production, he worked with Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka, and Gravez, among others.

Among the standouts on The Vices is “No Sharing” featuring rising rapper Luh Tyler. On the devotional banger, Tiller raps about a woman that he wants to keep all to himself: “Big rock, I’ma give her these karats, ain’t doin’ no sharin’ / Gotta take shawty off the market, and take her to Paris.”

Luh Tyler, who contributes two verses, raps, “I ain’t tryna waste no time, girl, / I’m tryna be your man now / Out all the pretty girls in the world, you the one who stand out.”

Other noteworthy moments on The Vices include the Rick Ross-assisted “Mini Kelly” and the featureless “Last Call,” where he croons, “What it’s gon’ take just for you to drunk call me? / What it’s gon’ take, girl, for you to jump on it? / Since you Ginuwine, come and ride my pony.”

Ahead of the album’s release, Tiller shared on Instagram, “With The Vices, I decided to get rid of my Vices completely and prove to myself that I didn’t need Weed, Alcohol, and all the other shenanigans to have FUN. I’ve been sober ever since.”

In an Instagram Stories Q&A, Tiller revealed he completed The Vices in just two weeks, noting, “It was fun to bring some mixtape energy to streaming platforms.”

According to Tiller, his R&B-driven Solace will release Oct. 2. Unlike The Vices, Solace will be featureless. The singer revealed, “It was personal to me. I didn’t really want anyone featured.”

Of the inspiration for his double album, Tiller shared, “It started with Solace. I just wanted to express what I was feeling to see if it would help me get [through] it. And then I got tired of talking about my feelings [and] got tired of drinking and smoking, so I decided to have some fun on a separate project, shifted my focus and boom, double album spawned.”

Solace & The Vices follows Tiller’s 2024 self-titled album, which included “Whatever She Wants,” “Outside,” “Calypso” and “Caio!”

Tiller is currently supporting Chris Brown on his Breezy Bowl XX Tour. The stadium tour has upcoming stops in Philadelphia, East Rutherford, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta and more.

Tiller also appears on Brown’s latest single “It Depends,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart and earned Brown his 120th entry on the Hot 100, opening at No. 43. The Usher-sampled track has also reached No. 1 on Apple Music, knocking Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae’s “What I Want” down to No. 2.
