Kehlani can’t stop, won’t stop. The promising new singer has released a new song called “Alive” ahead of her forthcoming project, You Should Be Here.
Backed by guitar instrumentation, the 19-year-old Oakland native sings about feeling rejuvenated after leaving a loveless relationship. “Damn I feel alive, baby/ it’s like something had to die to help you realize/ damn, I feel alive,” sings Kehlani on the Coucheron-produced song.
Over the past few weeks, Kehlani has dropped several songs including “How That Taste,” “Down For You” featuring BJ the Chicago Kid and “Jealous” with Lexii Alijai.
You Should Be Here will be released on April 28.
