Teyana Taylor brought Harlem to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (Sept. 12) night. Backed by a small band and dressed in a MTV My Super Sweet 16-esque outfit, the fiery performer opened her set with “Gonna Love Me,” off her K.T.S.E. album. She even incorporated the Harlem shake while singing the chorus.
Taylor followed up The Delfonics-sampled track with “Rose in Harlem,” and had three flexible background dancers to add artistic expression to the late-night performance.
Taylor just wrapped up her Keep That Same Energy Tour, which was originally a joint tour with she and Jeremih. She is reportedly working on a joint album with Ty Dolla $ign.
