Lucky Daye is here to stay. After releasing his I EP last fall, the emerging singer-songwriter is back with “Karma,” his new single that takes a play from the ’90s music handbook.
Borrowing the melodic flow of Ginuwine’s infectious hit “Pony,” Daye speaks on the fact that his new girl is causing more bad than good. Even though she is decked in diamonds and charms, it doesn’t stop her from being petty and throwing tantrums backstage while he performs.
“Karma” is likely the first offering from his forthcoming debut album, Painted. In February, Daye will hit the road with Ella Mai for her Debut Tour. And judging his recent Vevo performances, Daye is expected to put on an amazing set.
Try your luck with “Karma” below.
