Following last fall’s “Happy to See You,” The Shindellas are back to empower women with a new anthem titled “It Wasn’t Really Love.”
Crafted by their mentors and two-man band Louis York, this introspective track finds the sophisticated trio offering pointers to women who aren’t getting “cool and breezy” vibes from their men.
“It Wasn’t Really Love” is one of the many gems that The Shindellas have dropped on us since making their musical introduction with “Reconsider” last summer.
Back in March, the vocal trinity gave us poses galore in the video for “Ain’t That the Truth.”
The Shindellas are taking their messages of self-love and respect on the road with Louis York. The first show begins tonight (May 31) in Washington, D.C. at City Winery. Tickets for The Love Takeover Tour are on sale now on their official website.
