One can never have too many blessings and Angel is sending his praises. The British singer-songwriter has released his new single titled “Blessings,” along with the official video.
Written and produced by Angel, the emerging artist lists all the amazing things he’s been able to experience through his journey. The soft and acoustic based song perfectly accompanies Angel’s soothingly smooth vocals.
Recognizing the great things in his life, he sings on the chorus, “Why am I stressing? / I better count my blessings / Life could’ve been more threatening / But it ain’t, we good / I man flexing (flexing) / Gyal ah pull up no textin / I never sleep, no resting / I’m still awake, I’m good.”
The Paul Akinrinoloa-directed video captures Angel in his London neighborhood amongst friends and locals, leaning into the tender sentiment of the song.
Angel’s new single serves as his first U.S. release under his new label ByStorm Entertainment/RCA Records. He released his debut album Woman in June 2018.
