Gallant has put some respect on Ginuwine’s name in his new music video for “Sleep On It.”
This Miles & AJ-directed picture takes fans back to the countdown days of BET’s 106 & Park. From enlisting the veteran loverman for the leading role to reviving Motorola Razr phones, fans are probably wondering how they retire this video in the 106 & Park Video Hall of Fame.
“Sleep On It” is the current single from Gallant’s sophomore album, Sweet Insomnia, which arrives on October 25 via Mind of a Genius/Warner Records. The new album comes three years after blowing fans and critics away with his Ology debut.
On top of “Sleep On It,” Gallant has blessed his fans with two other songs: “Crimes” and “Sharpest Edges.” The latter tracks are expected to appear on Sweet Insomnia.
Gallant will build on the anticipation for his new album while playing shows this fall. He’s tapped for this year’s Bumbershoot Music & Arts Festival and the Life is Beautiful Festival. Soon after, he will hit the road with Sabrina Claudio for her The Truth Is Tour.
