Ever wondered what the world would be like if there were multiple Steve Lacy’s? His new music video for “Playground” turns this thought in a reality.
The charismatic visual is shot with a trippy, LSD effect that finds Lacy (and his many on-screen lookalikes) taking center stage as the poster boy.
“Playground” is the second offering from Lacy’s debut album, Apollo XXI, which is out now. The inaugural project also features “N Side” as well as a nine-minute song that explores his sexuality.
Lacy is almost finished with the North American leg of his first headlining world tour. In November, the low-key musician plans to head overseas for remainder of the international run. Ticket information can be found here.
