R&B ingénue UMI continues to invite us into her intensely introspective headspace.
“Pretty Girl hi!,” the singer-songwriter’s latest single, is perfect for anyone interested in pursuing a love interest. For UMI, she has a wandering eye for a special gal that she wants to “catch a vibe” with and let f*ck up her world.
“Oh baby we, maybe we / Could dance in just our baggy jeans / We, could smoke until the laser beams / Take my mind into a better dream / Baby see, ooh,” she sings.
So far, UMI has been signaling a bright future for herself with the releases of “Open Up” and “Introspection.” All three tracks come ahead of her upcoming EP, which is titled after the latter track.
The project slated to arrive on June 21 via Keep Cool /RCA Records.
