Teenear has taken a break from snappy mid-tempo songs, and takes her sound into a bluesier fold with her new song “Free.”
On the liberating recording, the Slip N Slide Records signee delivers an inspirational vocal performance that finds her declaring victory over her life.
While the first verse is more introspective, Teenear saves the second verse to send a message of salvation to listeners.
“Forget what they were / When the dust is all settled / It ain’t gon be worth it no more / Be big, stay bold / ‘Cause no matter what happens / There’s always tomorrow in store,” she sings on the second verse.
Back in April, Teenear shared the single “Come See Me.” She also released an intimate video for her nostalgic single “Dolla Signs” this year.
Teenear is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album.
