Pink Sweat$ doesn’t rest. The Atlantic Records signee is back with his second new track of the month and it’s called “Not Alright.”
The John Hill and Kenneth Wright-produced song is slated to appear on Pink Sweats’ upcoming debut album, Pink Planet, which is due out on July 17.
“‘Not Alright’ is a song I wrote about the wide range of feelings you experience being Black in America,” Sweat$ posted in a note on Instagram. “I was planning on putting this record out with the rest of the album, but I need you all to hear this one now.”
“Not Alright” comes weeks after “Cadillac Drive,” Sweat$’ contribution to the season four Insecure soundtrack. Earlier this year, he released two other songs: “Ride With Me” and “17.” Both tracks will appear on Pink Planet.
