After picking up “Missing Pieces” from their broken hearts, J-Sol and Mishon bounce back for their new track “Ready.”
The alluring tune, produced by Danny E.B. and Big J, finds the R&B gents ready to embark on a new love with their respective potential partners.
“You ain’t gotta worry / You just gotta show me / My pretty baby are you ready for love? / Cuz I’m ready for love,” they sing on the catchy hook.
Speaking on the story behind his new single, J-Sol tells Rated R&B, “The collaboration on this record was really authentic. Since our collaboration on ‘Missing Pieces’ Mishon has become family! I flew to LA to finish my debut project (which is dropping real soon) with two ideas for Mishon to hear. When I played the beat for ‘Ready’ with some of my melodies, he started vibing to it and wrote his verse soon after. We finished it in about three to four hours.”
Mishon adds, “When J told me he was coming to the West, we had to link up again after our collab on ‘Missing Pieces.'” J-Sol let me lead the way in producing ‘Missing Pieces’ myself, but this time he brought in some production from his people. He played me a track and instantly we knew we had something special.”
“Ready” will appear on J-Sol’s upcoming project, Sol Searching, which is expected to arrive in November via SOL Records.
