Tank has his foot on the gas, and he’s not letting up. Shortly after releasing his next smash hit “Can’t Let It Show,” the R&B General shares a supporting video.
Directed by TAJ, the conflict-motivated video features a shirtless Tank overcome with emotion for the pain he’s inflicted on his lover. He is driven to insanity when his attempts at making the relationship right aren’t moving his on-screen companion to reconciliation.
“Can’t Let It Show,” the first single from Tank’s next album, is already winning R&B radio audiences. The emotionally nostalgic song is quickly rising up the format’s respective chart, resulting in its No. 19 debut on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart this tracking week (March 6).
The follow-up to 2019’s Elevation is expected to arrive sometime this summer. Last May, he shared in an interview with Rated R&B that the upcoming LP would “be a situation.”
