The numbers are in for Jhené Aiko’s debut album, Souled Out.
The new album opens at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Hits Daily Double, Aiko sold 71,230 copies of Souled Out during week one. Aiko’s album also snags the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart.
Released on Sep. 9 via Def Jam, Souled Out is the follow-up to Aiko’s Sail Out EP and Sailing Soul(s) mixtape.
The 14-track offering includes previously released songs “The Pressure” and “To Love & Die” featuring Cocaine 80s. The album also features guest appearances from Common and Aiko’s daughter Namiko and her late brother Miyagi.
