Trevor Jackson has released the music video for “Unpacking” off his new album, Rough Drafts Pt. 1.
Directed by Jackson himself, the video finds him dancing (with his shirt unbuttoned) in an abandoned freight train warehouse. The clip also shows Jackson’s love interest angrily packing her belongings while he quickly unpacks them.
In a recent interview with Rated R&B, Jackson dished on his new album. “Rough Drafts represents the beauty in imperfection,” Jackson explained. “I feel like this day in age so many people want to be something they’re not or be something they’re not ready to be yet.”
Jackson also talked about his upcoming role as Youngblood Priest in the remake of Superfly, which will hit theaters this summer.
