Jacob Banks makes new music advancements in his Village today. The Nigerian-born singer has released his debut album on Interscope Records.
Before releasing Village, Banks pleased our ears with five satisfying songs including “Chainsmoking,” “Love Ain’t Enough,” “Be Good to Me,” “Unknown (To You),” and “Slow Up.” Village features guest appearances from Bibi Bourelly, Nana and Seinabo Sey.
Elaborating on the details behind Village, Banks shared with Clash Magazine, “I think it embodies the human experience, what it means to be human and so many things. My album celebrates all the weird parts and wonderful parts of us.”
Banks will support his Village album with a North American tour. The crooner will launch the U.S. trek in January 2019, performing in major cities such as Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta and more.
