Sia Amun boldly declares that she’s “Single AF” in her newly unveiled visual.
In a stripped down fashion, the Sam Buquen-directed clip finds the singer/songwriter in the most intimate places including a bathtub filled to the brim with roses, and a queen-sized bed. The camera forcibly switches between clear and hazy frames to add to the sensuality of the video.
Speaking with Rated R&B in July, Amun stated, “I’m not single and having a pity party. I’m single and happy but I don’t want to be.” She channeled that feeling of emancipation in the visual, also adding little flares of blatant relief from having no significant other to deal with.
Amun’s last release, The Blue Dream Project dropped in 2017. It featured the out of body single, “Flowers.” Now, this soaring R&B siren is having her own metamorphosis. “I’m maturing. My wants are changing. My interests are changing. My conversation is changing. I’m really a woman now. So, this project is definitely where I’m at today,” Amun said.
