JoJo has been under the radar since ending her Leaks, Covers and Mixtapes Tour in late June. Her whereabouts have apparently been in the studio, as she was recently spotted in the lab creating magic with Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox.
“Not all superheros wear caps,” quoted Cox on his social media Wednesday (Oct. 31) night.
Prior to hitting the studio with Cox and Dupri, JoJo has been seen cooking up hits with Tearce “Kizzo” Keaz (Empire, David Guetta), Davix (The Lox) and Jozzy (Sebastian Mikael). We can only suspect that JoJo is working on the follow-up to 2016’s Mad Love.
Speaking to Sway Calloway of MTV’s TRL in July about the direction of her next record, JoJo mentioned, “You know how hip-hop has influenced my life. I really want to bring that to the forefront of this project and make sure that it’s interwoven throughout this entire project.”
JoJo also wants her new work to be “completely transparent to where it speaks particularly to young women.”
