This is not a test. Elle Varner will debut her Wale-assisted single “Pour Me” this Friday, January 18.
Described as a “double entendre,” the ‘90s-inspired track will serve as the follow-up to her acoustic ballad “Loving U Blind.’
She revealed exclusively to Rated R&B in December that “Pour Me” is “about being a poor girl who’s lost the love she wants. So, pour her another.”
Varner has been searching for a love interest for her upcoming music video. We speculate the visual is for this next release.
Following the arrival of her new single “Pour Me,” Varner is headed out on tour with Marsha Ambrosius for her Nyla shows.
