Jacob Banks‘ voice is such a well-packaged gift. The R&B aficionado has extended his partnership with YouTube Music’s Artist on the Rise program by unleashing a live acoustic version of “Caroline.”
With his eye shut and mouth open wide, Banks sings the beautiful lyrics of the on-the-run ballad in a vacant pool locker room. No matter how much the camera panned to the “please shower before using the pool” sign, it couldn’t take our eyes off Banks commanding presence.
Earlier this month, Banks dropped a visual for his Ghetts-assisted track “Love Ain’t Enough (Remix).” He is currently still on tour in support of his Village album, which was featured on Rated R&B’s list of 25 Best R&B Albums of 2018. The last show is on March 11, in Salt Lake City.
