Anderson .Paak isn’t going to make his fans wait again on new music. The recent Grammy winner revealed his plans to release a new album called Ventura on April 12 via Aftermath Entertainment.
Spearheaded by Dr. Dre, the follow up to 2018’s Oxnard will feature an elite class of music stars, including Smokey Robinson, André 3000, Brandy, Lalah Hathaway, and Jazmine Sullivan. The work will also include posthumous rhymes from rap heavyweight Nate Dogg.
.Paak revealed the track listing and album artwork after posting that he won’t make his followers wait three years in between albums again. Shortly after his announcement, the California native unleashed a new track titled “King James,” which can be streamed below.
Tying in perfectly with his Ventura release date, .Paak will be seen playing Coachella 2019. He will return on April 19 for the second show. As of right now, .Paak is still performing across the world on his Andy’s Beach Club tour. The last show wraps on March 27 in Austria, Vienna.
On May 17, .Paak will launch his Best Teef In The Game Tour in support of Ventura. The upcoming U.S. trek will include onstage appearances by Jessie Reyez, Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, and Mac DeMarco. Tickets are available now on his official website.
