Just hours after sharing the details on her forthcoming album Beauty Marks, Ciara debuts her latest single “Thinkin Bout You.”
Crushing on a special guy, the R&B siren hopes that a romance can spark up between them. Though she has misgivings about his current love story, she still finds it “hard to hide” her feelings.
The entire production and lyrical content of “Thinkin Bout You” take advantage of Ciara’s flair for memorable pop melodies. The retro dance number is another track in the superstar’s infectious catalog that gets better with each spin.
“Thinkin Bout You” is the fifth track from Ciara’s seventh studio album, Beauty Marks, which is due out on May 10. The 11-track LP will be distributed through her new label imprint Beauty Marks Entertainment and will feature guest appearances by Kelly Rowland, Macklemore and Tekno.
Beauty Marks will include previously released songs “Greatest Love,” “Freak Me,” “Dose,” and “Level Up.”
