Summer Walker has some celebrating to do.
After teaming with Drake for her “Girls Need Love (Remix),” the sultry tune leaps from No. 87 to No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the week ending March 7. This feat marks Walker’s first Hot 100 entry and first Top 40 record on the same chart.
According to Billboard, Walker saw a 97 percent increase in streams last week, which made it debut at No. 23 on the Streaming Songs Chart.
Walker kicks off her Girls Need Love Tour on Friday, March 15 in Houston. The tour will wrap up in late April.
Earlier this week, she performed “Karma” and “Girls Need Love” for Vevo DSCVR. Both songs are lifted from her debut album, Last Day of Summer, which is out now.
