Khalid has been running at full speed to promote his sophomore album, Free Spirit. On the heels of its release, the singer has dropped the video for the title track.
Taken from his companion film that premiered for the one-night-only Khalid and his friends are seen coasting through the countryside in a custom van. A number of shots show the young and carefree crew dancing by a bonfire and tearing up hotel rooms. Yet, the video takes a slight dark turn. You’ll have to watch it below to see what happens.
This June, Khalid will take his Free Spirit album on the road for his first-ever North American arena tour. He will be joined by Clairo for the string of shows that begins on June 20 in Phoenix.
Ahead of his tour, Khalid will hit the Coachella stage later this month and the 2019 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas in May.
At the latter gig, he is likely to perform a medley of his recent hits, including “Talk” and “Better.” The award ceremony airs on May 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
