California dreaming is more than a term – it’s a way of life. Leven Kali is high in the clouds in his music video for “Do U Wrong” featuring Syd (of The Internet).
The bright and airy visual follows Kali and Syd on a journey to meet their dates. Before making it to their destination, the pair can’t seem to stay focused and encounter a little trouble. You’ll have to watch the rest of the video below to see how things unfold.
Even though Kali has been putting out a few tracks over the last two years, including a three-track EP late last year, he recently announced on Instagram that Low Tide, part one of his first full-length project, will be released on May 10.
“In 2017 I left school and ended up signing a record deal off of a demo tape made in my moms garage,“ he captioned on his official Instagram page. “Since then it’s been a crazy ass journey and the best time of my life. Here we are, 2 years later, 2 projects on deck (Low Tide & High Tide), written and produced by: me, my band/family, and my friends.”
Kali will have a number of opportunities to perform his new music this year. He will be making appearances at the Roots Picnic in June, as well as Woodstock and Outside Lands in August.
As for Syd, she could be one of two The Internet members to release a solo album this month or in May. The news broke after group member Steve Lacy debuted his new single “N Side” this month.
