For some, we fall hard for love. In Shay Lia’s case, that can be a “Dangerous” trait to possess when it comes to matters of the heart.
Upheld by scuffing percussion and fluttering synths, Lia insists someone should tell her momma that’s she head over heels again. Judging by the familiar lyrics, her sweet, jazzy tones don’t negate her troubles with decoding love language.
“Dangerous” is the debut single from Lia’s upcoming EP, which is slated to arrive later this year. Speaking on the forthcoming project, she mentioned on Instagram that she “took her time to create something different and fresh” and “couldn’t be more proud.”
At the top of 2019, Lia premiered an intimate song titled “Feels.” Prior to that, she dropped “The Cycle” and starred on Kaytranada’s NOTHIN LIKE U / CHANCES EP.
