Amber Mark is keeping the new music coming. Following her first release of the year with “Mixer,” Mark has dropped a video for her fresh track “What If.”
The New York City-based artist is head over heels as she gushes over her boo in the video. Mark is shown closer than close with her love interest, sharing an intimate embrace. In a number of bright loungewear pieces, she vocalizes in her bedroom about how heartbreak leads her to her current love.
The equally light and airy song contains a funky bassline and dramatic strings that enhance the retro-sounding groove. Introspectively on the first verse, she sings, “They say there’s no such thing as coincidence / A million people, tell me baby what are the chances / That we connected? / It had to happen exactly that way / I had to do it, had to make those mistakes / It’s true ‘cause it lead me to you.”
Mark will be hitting the Made in America Festival on Labor Day weekend at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.
With all this new music, it should keep her fans at bay until a new project in the near future.
