Lucky Daye, one of our nine artists to watch in 2019, returns with the fifth installment of his Daye One Series, powered by YouTube.
The Keep Cool signee treated the audience to a mellow performance of “Roll Some Mo,’” the lead single from his Painted album. The song also served as the era-launching track from his EP, I, which appeared on our top 25 R&B projects of 2018.
Daye’s set was one of the many highlights at 2019 Essence Music Festival earlier this month. He can be seen in September playing at H.E.R.’s self-curated Lights On Festival. Daye will be joined by the likes of Tone Stith, Summer Walker, Jhene Aiko, Daniel Caesar, and more.
